  10. is a complete billing and invoicing program for small to medium size
  11. organizations. You can set up your own billing rates and up to nine subtotal
  12. categories. Several billing files can be merged into one consolidated bill. It
  13. prints ledger cards and an audit trail of all billing entries. It prepares
  14. detailed reports including aging reports, manage reports and more.

  21. is a menu-driven invoicing system for small companies. It is easy to use and
  22. saves data after printing invoices so the data can be analyzed. The system
  23. allows for invoicing of products, services, time charges and credit memo's.
  24. Other features include a sales program and an accounts program.

  26. When we ran the access menu and selected 7 (the accounts) it gave us a "bad
  27. command or file name" error, but when we run ACCOUNT3.EXE from the DOS command
  28. line, it worked fine. We looked in INVOICE.EXE (the menu module) with LIST to
  29. see if we could spot the file names being used by the program and saw
  30. "ACOUNTS3.EXE". We renamed the file on the disk accordingly, and it works
  31. fine. We do not think this will affect any other parts of the program. If it
  32. does, then COPY ACOUNTS3.EXE ACCOUNT3.EXE and you will have one copy for each
  33. name.

  36. Fast Invoice Writer/Statement Writer

  40. is a stand alone invoice writer which calculates and prints four invoice copies
  41. (two invoices per sheet of paper), with each copy numbered one through four.
  42. The program also automatically serially numbers each set of invoices.  Your
  43. company letterhead may be printed at the top of the invoice and the built-in
  44. SETUP routine allows you to enter your own printer's codes for printing the
  45. letterhead in expanded or condensed characters.  There is also a city and state
  46. tax field, and a third tax field that is user definable. You can print on
  47. standard or condensed letterheads.

  49. Also on the same disk is FAST STATEMENT WRITER 1.1. It is similar to the
  50. invoice writer in operation and features. There are eighteen selectable names
  51. for documents such as invoice, requisition, purchase order, etc., or you may
  52. type your name.

  54. Other features include a stand-alone 19-line invoice writer; prints #10 window
  55. envelope payment return stubs; prints a new style invoice which may be folded
  56. for a #10 window envelope; includes a stand-alone 25-line statement writer;
  57. and more. You can pull information from the customer database into an invoice,
  58. and print a mailing label from the database.

  60. A cashbook summary, and summary reports can be printed. Invoice figures from
  61. cash register type applications can be saved. A 16-line monthly statement file
  62. similar to a VISA statement can be saved to disk, and a parts re-order sheet
  63. can be printed. There are inputs for post office numbers, clerk's initials,
  64. and type of sale. Invoices can be printed in three colors on the Epson JX-80.
  65. Laser printers are supported on letterhead and horizontal lines.

  76. is a complete invoicing, billing and accounts receivable program for small
  77. businesses. The installation and design of the program is aimed at the
  78. computer novice, yet the program is very professionally done, from an
  79. application viewpoint. The user interface could be improved: when making an
  80. entry, we could not "cursor-up" to correct an error nor Esc to get out of the
  81. entry. But these are minor points and the program is well done overall.

  89. professional looking invoices on 8.5"x11" plain paper or letterhead.

  105. the income information that most Accountants need from a small business on a
  106. monthly or quarterly basis, and a lot of other very valuable information for
  107. the business owner. It can be set up to allow for individual State Laws. Other
  108. features include a U.S. Postal abbreviations pop-up windows, support for
  109. window envelopes and pre-printed business stationery for invoices and
  110. statements, and the ability to print multiple copies of invoices. Requires a
  111. minimum of 512K. A hard disk is recommended.

  119. which include more than just numbers. This program provides all income data
  120. required by most accountants. It prints invoices, statements, labels, reports,
  121. and invoice and customer directories. It prints accounts receivable customer
  122. statements with matching labels. It holds over one million records.

  125. to retrieve records by name or by number. A safety routine checks for free

  158. to medium sized businesses which record sales on serially numbered invoices.
  159. One nice feature is its ability to generate a special report which gives the
  160. amounts and indicates to which accounts sales, receipts, accounts receivable
  161. and sales tax should be entered. The program is menu-driven and easy to use.

  174. uses the Btrieve record manager, a programmer's add-in from Novell, that
